England Rugby has extended its service agreement with Tixserve - the leading digital ticketing delivery platform - to support its digital transformation with a new four-year contract.
As part of its digital transformation process, England Rugby is making sure there is a fan-first approach putting technology at the heart of ticket holders' experience when attending matches at the iconic 82,000-capacity Twickenham Stadium.
Since joining forces with Tixserve in 2019, England Rugby has delivered almost two million digital tickets to fans visiting the home of rugby. The Tixserve solution enables England Rugby to provide a service that goes beyond efficient ticket delivery and forwarding, providing invaluable insights into ticket holders and tailored messaging opportunities that further add to their match day experience.
England Rugby is pleased to be working with Tixserve to enable this, and both parties will look to ensure the match day experience is amongst the best in the world.
Steve Kitcher, RFU Head of Ticketing, said:
"Tixserve has become an integral part of not only the supporters' match day experience but also our own digital and data strategy internally. The insight on who's attending matches is invaluable to us and our sponsors. Also of equal importance is the feedback we get from Twickenham Stadium app users, which has been extremely positive, so we know our supporters are pleased with it too."
Commenting on the extended multi-year deal with England Rugby, Tixserve's Managing Director, Patrick Kirby, said: "England Rugby is one of the most prestigious brands in sport and in 2019 pioneered the digital transformation of ticketing in conjunction with Tixserve.
"We are immensely proud of our collaborative business relationship with the RFU that has resulted in the evolution of our platform to be a market-leader in the provision of proven and scalable mobile distribution and engagement services.
"Tixserve continues to invest in product innovation, and we look forward to rolling out the next generation of our solution for England Rugby and our other blue-chip clients over the coming months."
